This Worthy Sir Knight originally joined the Knights of Columbus in February 1997. He has been a knight for 26 years. His demeanor is exemplary of a knight that lives his life in service. He is a regular fixture at our burrito events, and he has become a most valuable player when it comes to our breakfast burrito Sundays. In fact, he has single-handedly been responsible for pre-selling breakfast burritos throughout the years, being personally responsible for more than 1000 burritos sold during this past year! He is a living example of what it means to give graciously and selflessly to the causes we support for the parish, the community, and the Knights of Columbus. It is my honor to present our brother, Douglas Jackson, recognition as our Knight of the Month for February 2023!
This family is a regular fixture in parish life activities. He can be seen leading the rosary before mass on the weekends and is a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion. His wife is a sacristan and a member of the parish council. They both can found attending and/or leading many of our parish gatherings and activities. The family is an excellent example of living their Catholic faith and being leaders within the parish community. For these reasons I am pleased to present our Family of the Month honor for the month of February 2023 to Daryl and Laura Spano.
