Mulch Project for OLP

Event Chair: Jim Flannery

DETAILS:

The mulch needs to be replaced around the parish grounds. There will be 20 yards of bulk mulch delivered previously to OLP. We will be helping to remove the old mulch and replacing with the new mulch. Showtime to help will be 8:00am. We're planning to be done by 3:00pm. We’ll start by removing the old mulch, loading it in dump trailers, and moving it nearby on OLP grounds. We’ll also need to clear out the dirt around the borders of the mulch beds and prep the beds by raking and leveling them. Finally, we’ll apply 3” of new mulch in all the beds. FYI, OLP will provide pizza or something for lunch. Jim Flannery will bring water, Gatorade, soda and some beer as well as sunscreen. Arrangements have been made for two trucks and trailers to help with removing the old mulch. Please brings tools such as rakes, shovels, pitch forks, and wheelbarrows, if you have them to help with cleanup and preparation. The more hands for helping, the better.
