Family of the Month: Stacy and Tom Paris
We are proud to present the Family of the Month award to Stacy and Tom Paris.
Stacy’s commitment to our parish is truly inspiring. As the Director of Faith Formation for grades 9-12, she plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of our youth. Her efforts in managing our Newsletter and Communications ensure that our community stays informed and connected.
In addition to her formal roles, Stacy and Tom are actively involved in various parish activities, such as Vacation Bible School, the Pines Monthly Connection Magazine, World Youth Day, the Youth Formation program, and the Steubenville conferences. Their involvement in these programs not only enriches their own faith but also positively impacts the lives of many within our parish.

Knight of the Month: John Stewart
On this day, our council recognizes John Stewart with the Knight of the Month award.
John can’t be here tonight because he just had Covid and he’s afraid he’s still in the window of contagiousness.
John is active in council activities including burrito sales, roadside clean ups and meetings. Most recently, he helped cook hamburgers and hot dogs for the Vacation Bible School end of term luncheon. John has also shown a deep commitment to his faith by participating in the Catholic Ministries of “That Man is You”, which meets on Friday mornings at 6AM, and Inferno, which “aims to empower men to lead their fight to sainthood.”

Silver Rose at Our Lady of the Pines
A Knights of Columbus Silver Rose was presented at Our Lady of the Pines at the 8:30AM Mass on Tuesday, July 9th, 8:30 AM. Following mass the Rosary was prayed. Silver Rose Pilgrimages share the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and promote respect for life by participating in this meaningful pilgrimage. The Silver Rose program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life and honoring Our Lady.
Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The tour culminates with a special mass where all eight Silver Roses come together in Mexico on December 12th at the Basilica in Monterrey with a procession, prayers and Blessings through Our Lady of Guadalupe.
